Vision
To start more PG MD courses and planned to have thoracoscope and EBUS.
 
Mission
To implement NTEP and treat DR-TB patients. To serve patients from all over the Uttarakhand and neighboring states.
 
Brief History
TB chest Department started with the start of college since than it is growing. We have established lung function lab which includes spirometry, DLCO and FOT. We also established bronchoscopy suite, sleep lab, DR-TB ward and RICU.

As Dr. Anurag Agrawal is Chairperson STF, NTEP so we organized regular meetings, CMEs, core committee meetings, STF meetings.

We acted as front leader during covid pandemic.

Dr. Anurag Agrawal got following awards:
1. CM appreciation award
2. 1st corona warrior award from CM of Uttarakhand and many other corona warrior awards.
3. Appreciation award for services for Tuberculosis elimination program.
