Welcome to Government Doon Medical College (GDMC), Dehradun – the premier tertiary care institute of Garhwal. Established in 2016, affiliated to HNBUMU and
recognized by NMC with 150 MBBS seats, GDMC is attached to historic Doon Hospital— referal centre for 7 districts with 2000+ OPD and 250+ IPD daily, providing rich clinical exposure.
With 180+ faculty, modular OTs, 24×7 CT, MRI, Blood Bank, Trauma Centre, super specialties in neurosurgery, cardiology, urology, and plastic surgery, and the Central Library with 11,000+ books and Skill & Simulation Labs, GDMC is a centre of excellence in education, care, and research.
Guided by “Sarve Santu Niramayah”, we aim to produce competent and compassionate doctors committed to serving Uttarakhand, especially in remote and hilly areas.
