To develop the department of Pharmacology into a centre of excellence in teaching, research, and rational therapeutics, ADR Monitoring, fostering evidence-based medicine and nurturing future medical professionals with strong ethical and scientific foundations."
 
Mission
To provide quality education in pharmacology through innovative teaching methods, practical training, and continuous evaluation. To promote research and innovation in experimental, clinical, and regulatory pharmacology relevant to national health priorities. To encourage rational and safe use of drugs through active involvement in pharmacovigilance, therapeutic drug monitoring, and drug policy formulation. To cultivate professionalism and ethics among students and faculty in all aspects of pharmacological education and practice. To collaborate with healthcare institutions, government agencies, and the pharmaceutical industry to bridge the gap between laboratory research and clinical application.
