As I begin this responsibility, my foremost vision is to strengthen the twin pillars of our system, excellent patient care and robust medical training. Our priority will be to nurture an environment where students are guided not only to acquire knowledge and clinical skills, but also to uphold empathy, professionalism, and a spirit of service to humanity.

The rapidly changing landscape of healthcare, with advances in technology, artificial intelligence, and research, calls for continuous adaptation. I believe GDMC is well-positioned to integrate these opportunities into teaching and practice, ensuring that our graduates are prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

I also recognise that meaningful progress can only be achieved with the collective efforts of faculty, staff, students, and the community we serve. Together, we must build an institution that not only heals but also leads by example in innovation, inclusivity, and integrity.
